The silver chrome finish on this LLOYTRON fan looks okay from a distance. Up close it's very plasticky - but that is expected at this price point.

After assembly, the main stem which connects to the base, remains slightly loose. There is some movement of the stem and the base - despite this, it does not affect the functionality of the fan or the oscilating feature.

The circular panel on the front of the fan, in the centre is bit loose and not secure. Therefore if you have the fan on a high or a medium setting, this panel will rattle away and is irritating. This can be fixed with a bit of tape or blu-tac to weight down - but you shouldn't have to do this in the first place.

On the low setting the loose panel does not rattle.

The fan blades and motor itself is quiet and does its job adequately. The highest setting is not that strong or powerful compared to my previous similar priced 12inch fan.

One of the great buys is this fan ,, i work it all through the summer and all through the winter nights,if I didnt work it at night , my poor feet would die of heat exaustion.
